Privacy Policy
Effective July 14, 2026. This policy explains how Vice of Verse handles account, music, content, safety, purchase, analytics, and support information.
Interpretations stay personal.
Vice of Verse hosts user interpretations and short excerpts for discussion. It does not publish official lyric meanings or full lyric sheets, and every public surface includes reporting, moderation, and takedown paths.
What we collect
We process account identifiers, public profile details, posts, short user-selected excerpts, comments, reports, blocks, support requests, device/app diagnostics, age-verification status, and subscription entitlement status. Spotify connections are optional; connected listening data is used only to create personal room recommendations and can be disconnected.
Why we use it
Data runs song rooms, social features, safety review, fraud prevention, support, entitlement restoration, and product reliability. We do not sell personal information or use connected music data to train advertising profiles.
Service providers
Firebase provides authentication, data, functions, and storage. RevenueCat processes subscription entitlement state. Spotify provides optional catalog and connection data. Unity may provide ads only where enabled. PostHog may provide product analytics when configured. Each provider processes data under its own terms and privacy documentation.
Retention and your choices
Public posts remain until you delete them or moderation removes them. Support and safety records are retained only as long as needed for resolution, legal obligations, and abuse prevention. You can manage blocks, privacy, connected music, and account deletion in the app. A web deletion request is available from the Help Center.
